For the past several weeks, something has felt deeply off. I have been exhausted. Not just tired, but deeply, bone-weary exhausted. My joints hurt. My motivation feels different. I haven’t been able to quite understand why I wasn’t feeling like myself.
Like many of us do, I explained it away. I assumed it was stress….not enough sleep, being too busy, or as I typically do Fibromyalgia. I even blamed myself – thinking maybe I just needed to push a little harder.
Then I received a diagnosis that reminded me of something important: our bodies, hearts, and lives are often trying to tell us something long before we’re ready to listen
This week’s episode of Hope Comes to Visit isn’t really about THAT specific diagnosis…
It’s about paying attention. It’s about those quiet whispers that show up before life starts shouting. You know – the exhaustion we ignore and push through, the grief we postpone, the relationships that need attention, the dreams we’ve put on hold….even the habits we know aren’t serving us.
So often, we convince ourselves we’re lazy, unmotivated, dramatic, or failing when something deeper is actually asking for our attention. But what if the better question isn’t “What’s wrong with me?”, but instead, “What’s trying to get my attention?”.
This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen more closely, and trust that what you’re feeling matters. Because sometimes hope doesn’t arrive as a dramatic breakthrough. Sometimes it arrives as an invitation.
I’m so grateful you spent this time with us today.
