This conversation feels just like taking a deep breath and exhaling.
This week on Hope Comes to Visit, I sat down with Rachel Urton — founder of Balanced Home Apothecary, mom of four, and someone whose work is rooted in helping women care for themselves in ways that feel supportive instead of overwhelming.
What I loved most about this conversation is that it wasn’t about perfection. It wasn’t about becoming “natural enough” or getting wellness exactly right.
It was about real life. It was about the exhausted mom trying to soothe a teething baby at 2 a.m. It was abut the women (like me) who are daily navigating chronic pain and the many people carrying stress in their nervous system every single day without even realizing it anymore.
Rachel shares how her own health struggles led her toward natural wellness and eventually inspired her to create products designed to make support simpler and more accessible for busy women and families.
We talk about:
• chronic pain and inflammation
• nervous system overwhelm
• hormones and exhaustion
• motherhood and self-neglect
• natural wellness without the pressure of doing everything perfectly
• why small shifts can create meaningful change over time
One of my favorite moments in the conversation came when we talked about hope — and how sometimes hope simply looks like finding something that helps….Not perfection or a miracle cure…..Just support, relief and possibility.
And honestly? I think so many women need that reminder right now.
